Thoughts on My Birthday !

Thoughts on My Birthday ( posted one day after my birthday )

1. I love that the day started with a free Americano from Starbucks as part of their birthday program AND it just happened to be free pastry day too ..... so I indulged in a warmed apple fritter . mmmmmm

2. Gerry presented me with Sade's new album + my next read The Postmistress

3. Passed by a   random house on my way into work and there were balloons tied to the roadside mailbox .... nice of them to do that for me !

4. 43 is a better number than 42. Even numbers are not good . Fours are not good numbers in general . Nothing good comes in 4's.  Some people will not even live at an address with a four in it !  I secretly hate that my address has a four in it !

5. Had to teach night school on my birthday . First class of the spring semester .... but I fell in love with all my new students of course !

6. Emma made me this cool pancake cake . It was seriously one of the best things I have ever put in my mouth . The buttery sweet icing mixed with the layers of not sweet but fluffy yet dense pancakes was just amazing !

7. My good friend Amanda gave me this book in which to record my dysfunctions ( it is actually called the dysfunction journal) It is where I can record all of my crazy thoughts .

8. Wished that I could have had some Champagne with my friend Marcie !

9. At the end of the evening my cat finally caught and sufficiently maimed the mouse that has been skulking around our house !

10.  There are some white hairs mixing in the red and that is totally freaking me out !
