No Lasagna .....just the Neti Pot

Well , Lasagna production was circumvented by my horrible sinuses !!  I really do hate my sinuses. They are one of the things in my life that slow me down!  Today I was so dizzy that simple tasks became impossible. I had the best of intentions to get lots done but by about 1pm I was laying down trying to will the pain that was taking over my entire face to go away !

I have had a Neti Pot for some time now . I read the instructions from time to time and keep telling myself that one day I will be  brave enough to try it . Well today was the day . I guess I had been worried that I would drown or something. I mean it sounds odd to literally pour salty water into your nostril.  My neti pot is just like the one above. I figured even if I never used it that it would look good somewhere in my home... all blue and shiny.  At the husbands prompting I filled it up , added the special salt , got myself into the contorted position of a first timer , jammed the spout into my nose and poured away. At first I forgot to breathe through my mouth but that got sorted in a hurry . What a joy it was to see the water come pouring out of my other nostril.....like some kind of circus side show act .  I feel quite good about facing my Neti Pot fears.  I am convinced it will help me . Things did feel clearer afterwards .  I am sure of it !
