My Greedy Little List

Look at these beautiful Uggs .... I love that they are lime green , I love that they would be so comfortable, I love that they are UGGS and not the of the  knock-off variety that I see everywhere !  I want them ...or rather I wish for them.  If I had lots of disposable income , or rather if I could go out and just buy anything I wanted ....be totally self indulgent . So like instead of paying the multitudes of  bills , or trying to afford the outrageous property taxes, or footing the bill for santa claus and the easter bunny , or fixing the taps in the house or the siding that is falling off , or doing any number of things that suck all of our money into a deep dark hungry hole......,  I would buy something off of my greedy little list of ridiculous material things that I covet.  

 

Really do I even need to explain this ? Clearly ( if you read the blackberry post ) I have no business owning a blackberry ! ( unless RIM would like to hire me to crash test a few ....as my friend Mike pointed out )  I think it is because what I really wanted was the pretty pretty iphone !

 

I have loved this for a long time .  I can picture it around my neck . I can feel the smooth robin's egg blue Tiffany's box  that it would come in . Yummy!

 

Yup ...giving apple all of my biz. Lovin the ipod touch .  I mean come on .....even my students have them !

 

I have wanted this little North Face  beauty for at least 3 years. It would make yard duty in winter much more tolerable and I would look great in it !

 

Oh lulu .....why do I love you so much . Wanted the b-still for quite some time now . This is my look ....casual, yoga, but not quite given up and wearing track pants. People have come to expect it of me .  This would make me all the more fashionable..... and I could free lance as a soccer mom !

 

 

My friend Liza posted these on her blog Lemon Fresh a few weeks ago and since then I have been obsessed with them. The Sorel Suka! When I am feeling grumpy I take a moment and look them up on the internet. I love them , I love them. I have resisted winter boots all my life. Finally caved and got a pair two years ago that I hate and that are not comfy . These call out to me every time I head into the snow .  

 

Just look at this Anthroplogie sweater ....... oh my God !   This is part of my yoga , casual , not quite given up and wearing track pants look.  Or for this sweater I would even upgrade to black tights and an ultra thin white tee!!!   

 

Yup love my UGGS ....these babies would look beautiful with the above Anthropologie sweater !   Love them !  Want them !  Have been fantasizing about them daily !

I know these wishes are materialistic.  Yes of course I still want world peace and all of that.  I am putting myself out there and showing you my greedy consumer lusts .  Sometimes as I drive to work and fantasize about any one of the things on this list it somehow makes winter more bearable for me !!!
