This is the last book in an amazing series ! If you loved the Twilight series then you will love this series too ! I must admit that I have been engrossed in young adult fiction lately and these books are addictive !!! I think I might like this series even better than Twilight !!!! This is my next read !

I am currently reading this book - the second in the series . AMAZING. Like Twilight ... there is a female protagonist named Clary . She is so much more interesting and well .....capable than Bella. She is independent and believable. Plus she is a redhead ! Don't want to say much about this book. I have only put it down to eat and sleep.

The one that got me hooked !!!! Get it and read it and you too will be captured and unable to resist this world of
Shadowhunters, Vampires, Werewolves, Fairies, Witches and Warlocks.

One of my students read this for his
ISU and I have also heard lots of great stuff about it . Got to read it before I see the film. Kind of an "I am Legend" type of story.
Cormac also penned
No Country for Old Men. Probably the next one I am going to read after the Clarke series
. p.s . I hate it when they put those movie stickers on books !!!

Like so many of my books this one was given to me by my friend Marcie ! Can't wait to get into it . The cover art is so lovely ! Marcie has introduced me to some of my favourite authors .

Bought this one at
Powels in Portland. Another Young Adult. Had Shakespeare in the title ( and spanking) so what else can I say ! Still have to read this one !

Another
Powels find ....... love the title ! Have not read this yet !

Lovely ! I am absolutely addicted to stories that take place in India. Or about East Indians living in North America. This book is beautiful. I have not finished it yet. The story is told so carefully. It is a literary painting. I can taste, touch and hear all of it . Glorious. If you have ever read anything by
Jhumpa Lahiri ( one of my favourite authors ) then you will love this book!

This is where I started . I read the first 25 pages last summer when I found it on a book shelf at a cottage I was at. One of my students wrote an
ISU essay about it and I was curious . It is beautiful and
intriguing. I find that I am of two minds when it comes to
Coelho....... I
simultaneously love his writing and find it boring and self conscious. This book is different. It is told by
several different people... all of them friends or acquaintances of Athena. ( the witch of
Portobello) It reads like an interesting series of interviews. Worth the read for sure !
