a miracle

Lululemon Jesus pants have had a huge impact on my life. I picked them up shopping in Portland Oregon with my best friend and ex pat Marcie, who lives there( she gave me a bumper sticker so now my love of Portland is public knowledge ) .... yup had to go all the way to Portland ( best shopping ever in the Pearl district ... impressed Marcie ?)to bring some lulu into my life. I am not a fancy person. I am not fashion savy .... ask anyone who knows me. In fact , the most common response when I ask my husband how I look as I head out for a rare night on the town (such that it is) is " well it's not your best look." When on a rare occassion I wear make-up to work my co-workers say - " wow it looks like you made an effort today " So yes these miracle pants have changed my life. My husband says I look great in them. He loves how they hug my ass. My co-workers comment each and every time I wear them .... which is often cause they are reversable. (I know !!!!!) In fact, I often get the comment "did you lose weight?" when I have these bad boys on. Any day that someone thinks I have lost weight is in Christopher's words from A Curious Incident of the Dog in The night - "A red car day." Add to all of this the fact that they feel fucking great and I am in.... if I could marry these pants I would. Wow - my students would have a field day with that symbolism .... me marrying Jesus (pants) They fit like a glove - hug my butt just enough... and then they fold over all the way down my butt .... sort of putting my butt in a hammock ....yes a butt hammock. I must confess, just last weekend I slept in them and then went out to run a few errands when I woke up. I have found my "look" I am not fancy, not a fashionista, but I have my "look"...... in Jesus !
