why ?

Why is it that we have to withstand the abuse and grief that a 13 year old can dish out ?
At what point did our world decide that these children can do whatever they want . Everyday I watch as talented professionals get insulted, tormented and basically told to fuck off by kids. It is unbearable. Who will decide that this is not okay ? I know some of these kids have huge issues - but what service are we doing them by allowing this behaviour ? By tolerating and enabling them we are teaching them that this is okay. When they go out into the world and begin insulting cab drivers and pushing people in bank lines - it will be our fault ! Their only chance is for us to stop this behaviour. Thank-goodness these particular kids only make up about 5 % of the general population.
